Coming out of his first season as head coach at ASU, Herb Sendek and his coaching staff will host their first annual summer camps. The camps will be held on the Tempe campus at Wells Fargo Arena. ASU coaches and players will provide instruction.
Housing for the camps will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the official hotel of the Herb Sendek summer camps. This newly renovated hotel is only minutes from the ASU campus and is the site of Coach Sendek's nightly talks and social gatherings.
This summer there will be three sessions for players of all skill levels.
Team camp session #1 runs from June 14-17 and is a high school team camp (Grades 9-12). Each team will play in at least eight games and will work on all skills important to playing at the college level. Online registration closes June 7, 2007. The number of teams is limited so please register early.
Along with team camps there are full day and half-day camps running from June 18-21. The camps range from grades 2-12 and start at 9 a.m. The half-day camps run until 12 noon while the full day camps continue to 3 p.m. The camps is focused on working with players on individual skills and improving their all-around game.
Team camp session #2 runs from June 21-24 and also is a high school team camp. Teams will play a minimum of eight games against other high school teams (Grades 9-12). Online registration closes June 14, 2007.
