Walnut Creek, Calif. - Arizona State junior Roxanne Clarke has been named to the Women's Tennis All-Pac-10 team as an honorable mention selection, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced on Monday.
Clarke, from Cape Town, South Africa, helped the No. 22 Sun Devils to their nineteenth straight NCAA tournament appearance in her first season with the team. The No. 64 ranked singles player in the nation, Clarke has posted a 25-13 record this year, one of the highest win totals in school history. She also became a member of an elite group of Sun Devils, winning both 20 singles matches and 20 doubles matches in a season, posting a 26-9 record with partner Kady Pooler while rising to No. 16 in the nation.
Clarke has twice won Pac-10 Player of the Week honors this season, once for doubles and again for singles.
