Tucson, Ariz. - Led by Alejando Canizares, who holds the top spot after the second round, the Arizona State men's golf team is in second place at the National Invitational Tournament for the second straight round.
ASU shot a 12-under 564, two strokes behind tournament leader UCLA. UCLA shot a 14-under 562.
Sun Devil Alejandro Canizares stands alone in the top spot after shooting a 6-under 138. Junior Niklas Lemke isn't far behind. Lemke is tied for second place after shooting a 5-under 139. Erik Coover shot a one-under 143 to tie for 21st. Lenny Park is tied for 28th with an even par 144. Steele DeWalt is tied for 81st after shooting a 13-over 145.
The National Invitational Tournament concludes tomorrow.
