TEMPE, Ariz. (www.thesundevils.com) -- Arizona State University made the National Consortium for Academics (NCAS) and Sports' Outreach and Degree Completion Honor Rolls for 2004-2005. ASU was recognized at the Founder's Luncheon during the NCAS Annual Conference. The luncheon was held on Feb. 22.
The award represents commitment to developing leadership in student-athletes and caring for the community. It also represents the school's commitment for its student-athletes to demonstrate the ultimate goal of institutions of higher education, which is to develop young people to become tomorrow's leaders.
Since ASU joined the Consortium in the 1997-98 academic year, it has made the Degree Completion Program Honor Roll in 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2001-02 and 2004-05.
