TEMPE, Ariz. - For the 20th time in the past 21 years under head coach Sheila McInerney, the Arizona State University women's tennis team (10-7) earned a bid into the postseason and will travel to Los Angeles to compete in the NCAA Regionals hosted by the University of Southern California. The Sun Devils earned a No. 2 seed at the regional and will face No. 3 seed San Diego State (16-10) in a first round match up on Friday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m.
No. 1 seed USC (16-3) will take on No. 4 seed Illinois-Chicago (13-10) in the other first round dual at 9:00 a.m.. The two first round winners will square off against one another on Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. with the champion advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 Team Championship on May 19-22 in Athens, Georgia.
