"Arizona State University wants to express its thanks to everyone across the world who has offered their sympathy, encouragement, ideas and thoughts regarding Sun Devil Pat Tillman," Smith said. "We understand the need for our community to pay the proper respects to Pat while also giving the family proper time to grieve. We expect to have an announcement during the early part of next week with details of a memorial service in Arizona. Again, thanks for all you have done to help us through a very difficult time."
