The Arizona State men's golf team has moved up to fourth in this week's Golf Coaches Association of America poll. ASU, ranked fifth a week ago, jumped ahead of SEC champion Georgia. The Sun Devils travel to Tucson for the Pac-10 Championships held April 26-28. ASU has won four tournaments on the year, tied for second in the nation with Minnesota. Florida has won six tournaments on the year.
UCLA is ranked third, while No. 8 Arizona, No. 15 USC, No. 16 California and No. 23 Washington also are Pac-10 teams ranked by the GCAA.
Arizona State is fifth in this week's Golfweek poll, while Chez Reavie is 14th and Alejandro Canizares is 18th. Golfstat has the Sun Devils sixth, with Reavie 16th and Canizares 22nd.
The GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at Division I institutions. All are members of the Golf Coaches Association of America. The final regular season Division I GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll will be released May 6.
