NORMAN, Okla. - The nationally-ranked Arizona State Men's Golf team again found itself in the top ten of the latest GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll as the No. 7 team. ASU gathered 580 points in the most recent tally, which dropped them one slot from their previous ranking.
The GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches at Division I institutions. All are members of the Golf Coaches Association of America. The next Division I GCAA/Precept Coaches Poll will be released on March 25.
The Sun Devils will compete in the 15-team Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship hosted by UNLV this weekend on March 12-14, which will feature the top five teams in the nation. Live scoring of the 54-hole event will be available at unlvrebels.com. In the field is Arizona State's Alejandro Canizares, who ranks 26th nationally and is college golf's defending national champion.
