STATEMENTS FROM Ike Diogu AND Rob Evans
"I am continuing my education and basketball career at Arizona State. I never really thought about leaving, I took a few days to make sure my family understood and agreed with the decision. Like I said at the beginning of the year, I was not going to think about it until after the season and when the last game was over I wanted to talk with my family and Coach Evans first. I have confidence in my coaches and teammates we will get this program back to winning ways." -- Ike Diogu
"First and foremost, we are glad Ike and his family feel good about his decision. We know we return one of the best players in the country and that with a more experienced team around him we look forward to next year. When we signed Ike, we told people that he was special, and he continues to impress."-- Rob Evans
