Mesa, Ariz., native and Arizona State men's golfer Chez Reavie has earned Second-Team All-Pac-10 honors. Reavie, the 2001. U.S. Public Links Champion, has a 73.06 stroke average this year in five events and has three top-10 finishes.
Reavie played in 10 events in his rookie year (2000-2001) and posted a 72.58 stroke average, including two top-10 finishes. His top showing was at the NCAAs, as he posted a 7-under 281 (71-67-74-69) to finish tied for fourth, the second-best finish by an ASU freshman since Phil Mickelson won the title as a frosh in 1989. Only Darren Angel (tied for third in 1996) has had a better finish as a Sun Devil freshman in the past 12 seasons at the NCAA Men's Golf Championships.
