TEMPE, Ariz. - The Pac-10 Tournament Champion Sun Devil women's basketball team celebrated one of the most successful seasons in school history and handed out individual awards at ASU's annual season-end banquet last week.
In addition to capturing the inaugural Pac-10 Tournament Championship with an upset of second-ranked Stanford, Arizona State tied the school record for most victories in a single season with its 25-9 record. The team also earned Arizona State's first back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and 20-win seasons in 19 years.
In addition, ASU honored its five seniors: guards Amanda Levens and Rainy Crisp, forwards Cian Carvalho and Leah Combs and center Melody Johnson.
