Tempe, AZ- Saturday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center, the No. 10 Sundevils fell to the Bruins of UCLA in a 6-1 loss. The Sundevils' record now falls to 11-5. The Sundevils hope to add some wins to their record next week agains Washington State and the University of Washington.
In singles play, the Sudevils' only shining moment of the match came with Dora Krstulovic's victory over UCLA's Sara Walker, with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 win over the Bruin. Joslynn Burkett and Megan Yeats also played well today in the match, but were just unable to seal a win.
In doubles action, the Sundevils played hard, but were unable to get their composure back as UCLA swept doubles. Mhairi Brown and Megan Yeats began well, but weren't able to fend off Lauren Fisher and Megan Bradley in an 8-5 loss to UCLA.
