(3)-Senior Jin Park-74.52 stroke average this year...has played in 44 tournaments in career...shot a career-best 65 in first round of Pac-10 Championships last year at Karsten.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: A practice round will take place on Thursday, April 26. The opening two rounds are Friday, the third round is on Saturday, and the final round is scheduled for Sunday. The starting time for Friday is 7:30 a.m., Saturday and Sunday is 8:00 a.m.
SCORING: Each team is comprised of six golfers. The five individuals with the low scores for any 18-hole round constitute the scoring members of the team for that given round. The team championship will be awarded to the squad with the lowest total combined score for all rounds. Results will be available via the internet. THE DRAW: Per a blind draw by Conference officials, the pairings and order of play for the first round are as follows:
Group 1 (1st Tee - 7:54 a.m.): USC, California
Group 2 (1st Tee - 8:42 a.m.): Arizona, Stanford
Group 3 (10th Tee - 7:30 a.m.): UW, WSU
Group 4 (10th Tee - 8:18 a.m.): ASU, OSU
Group 5 (10th Tee - 9:06 a.m.): Oregon, UCLA
REGIONALS MAY 17-19: Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis, Ore., will be the site of the NCAA West Regional Championships Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 19, while the NCAA Championships will be Wednesday, May 30, through Saturday, June 2, in Durham, N.C.
NCAAs: Six schools have made at least 12 straight trips to the NCAA Championships. The schools and the consecutive years they have contended are: Oklahoma State (54), Clemson (19), Arizona State (17), Arizona (12), UNLV (12), North Carolina (12).
OTHER RECENT PAC-10 REVIEWS: ASU led from start to finish at the Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle on April 26-28, 1999, to claim its fifth straight Pac-10 title with a 21-stroke victory over UCLA. Individually, Paul Casey's collegiate-record 60 and his then Pac-10 record-low score of 265 (67-66-72-60) highlighted the event, as only three players broke par in the event. In 1998, ASU won its fourth straight Pac-10 title with an 11-shot victory over UCLA at Orinda, Calif. Then-freshman Paul Casey shot a 5-under-par 283 (76-73-68-66) to earn medalist honors. Jin Park posted his collegiate-best tournament (tied for fourth) with a 2-under 286 (72-72-66-76).
ON THE CHARTS: Jeff Quinney has won three collegiate tournaments. Quinney won the 2001 Las Vegas Intercollegiate, the 1999 NCAA West Regional and the 1999 ASU Thunderbird/SAVANE Invitational. A look at Quinney on the ASU wins list:

COACH RANDY LEIN: Randy Lein has coached 54 tournament wins in 19 seasons, tutored 40 All-Americans and added the top accolade in collegiate golf in 1995-96 - the NCAA title - to his collection as the Sun Devils won the title in Chattanooga, Tenn., with a three-stroke victory over UNLV at the Honors Course. In his ninth season as ASU's coach, Lein has guided ASU to 31 tournament victories (including a school record six in 1995-96), seven Pac-10 titles, three NCAA West Regional wins and seven top-10 finishes at the NCAAs including the 1996 title. In addition, Lein has tutored NCAA medalist Todd Demsey and 10 All-Americans (20 occasions): Todd Demsey (3), Chris Hanell (3), Paul Casey (3)Cade Stone, Chris Stutts, Joey Snyder (2), Scott Johnson (2), Darren Angel (2), Paul Casey (3), Jeff Quinney (2) and Matt Jones (1). He has won Pac-10 Coach-of-the-Year five times (1993, 1995, 1996, 1999 and 2000) while at ASU and twice at USC (1980 and 1986). Lein (pronounced "Line") is a 1975 graduate of CS Northridge.
2000 U.S. AMATEUR CHAMPION JEFF QUINNEY: Tied for second at the Stanford/U.S. Intercollegiate with a 3-under 219 (71-67-72)...tied for sixth at ASU Thunderbird/SAVANE with a 7-under 209 (72-69-68)...won the Las Vegas Intercollegiate with a 13-under 203 on March 9-11 with a 69-67-67...13-under par was the second-best score of his career...career best was 15-under 201 at 1999 Thunderbird/SAVANE Invitational (70-69-62)....tied for third at NCAA Ping Preview...tied for ninth at SAVANE All-American...tied for ninth at USC Southwestern Classic with 5-over 147 (76-71).
