March 22, 2000

Tempe, Ariz. - The annual Arizona State University Spring Football Game is but one of the free activities planned to take place at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday, April 15.

The festivities kick off at 1:30 p.m. with Sun Devil players and coaches leading children (eighth grade and under) in a series of interactive drills at the north end of Frank Kush Field. At the opposite end of the turf, ASU players will sign autographs and fans will have the opportunity to "Dress Like a Sun Devil" and have a free photo taken with Sparky, the Sun Devil mascot. Ongoing activities throughout the afternoon include a "Select-a-Seat" promotion for new ASU season ticket holders, registration for the Sparky Kids Club and the distribution of promotional items such as 2000 schedule magnets. The ASU Team Shop will be open to satisfy all Sun Devil apparel needs, while fans can also purchase "Legends" merchandise, including equipment from past football seasons.

Fans are encouraged to arrive at Sun Devil Stadium early, as the first 1,500 individuals through the gates are invited to attend a free barbecue, beginning at 2:00.
