Men's Tennis Falls to UCSB, 4-3

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State men's tennis team (5-6, 1-4 Pac-10) suffered at set back at the hands of the University of California Santa Barbara (9-6), 4-3 Saturday in Santa Barbara, California.

The Sun Devils fell a point behind early on by losing two of the three doubles matches. ASU loss the doubles point for only the third time this season. In singles action, ASU won on courts No. 1, 2 and 3.

Gustavo Marcaccio posted his team-leading 19th win of the season with a 6-4, 6-2 win over UCSB's Cory Guy at the No. 1 slot. At the No. 2 position, Alex Osterrieth won his eighth dual of the year with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 come from behind win over Jong-Min Lee. Ed Carter posted the other victory for ASU at the No. 3 slot with a 7-6, 6-4 win over Ross Duncan.

Arizona State is back in action when they host New Mexico State on Tuesday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m.
