Tempe, Ariz. -- The Arizona State men's swimming team returned from the NCAA Championships in Auburn, Ala., with a 10th-place finish. For the Devils, it is only a slight improvement from a 11th-place finish at last year's NCAAs.
Highlighting the Devils' effort at the championships was junior all-America Francisco Sanchez, who finished in 8th place in the 50 free (19.83), 14th in the 100 fly (47.67) and 8th in the 100 free (47.05).
In the relay portion, the team of Sanchez, Pablo Abal, Scott VonSchoff and Craig Hutchison garnered a third-place finish of 2:54.03 in the 400 free relay.
