Women's Golf in Fourth Place at PING/ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Host Arizona State Sun Devils shot an 15-over par 303, dropping to fourth place after two rounds at the PING/ASU Invitational at Karsten Golf Course. The team is 23 shots behind Stanford, who shot a three-over par 291 to take the lead going into the final round. San Jose State University is five shots back (586), while Arizona takes the third spot after firing a one-over par 289 for a two-day total 590. In fifth place is Oregon (603).

Stanford's Julie Dunn fired a three-under par 69 (72-69--141) to lead all individual players. Her teammate Hilary Homeyer is two shots back (70-73--143).

Leading the Devils is senior Kellee Booth (72-73--145), who shot a one-over par to pace the team. She is currently tied with two other players for third place. Freshman Grace Park scored a 75 and is tied at 6th place (72-75--147). Junior Tui Selvaratnum is tied at 30th (75-77--152), junior Keri Cornelius is tied at 56th (77-80--157) and senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil (84-78--162) sits in 75th place.

The final round begins tomorrow with tee times starting from 7:30 a.m. from the first and 10th tees at Karsten Golf Course.
