The ASU Women's Softball Team annual participates in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The players were so inspired by this event and the Pink-Out games that some have chosen to share their experiences below:

"Working and being a part of Race for Cure was an amazing experience and being able to interact with the survivors was memorable. When we went as a team we got to meet a survivor that also had our "Save Second Base" shirts on and her whole group was wearing them too! It was so cute. Being there you feel like you are doing something amazing for a great cause." - #36 Mandy Urfer, INF

"The pink out games are amazing. They let us show the community that we really care about other things besides just athletics. It also shows the team that there are other things out there that are worse than the stresses of a strike out or a bad game. It is a great feeling knowing that we can play a game for an hour and a half for our fans and raise money that goes towards such a great cause." -#2 Caylyn Carlson, IN/OF
