Six Softball Student-Athletes Named Pac-12 All-Academic

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -
Arizona State softball placed six student-athletes on the Pac-12 All-Academic Teams as announced Tuesday by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

In total, 11 Sun Devil student-athletes were honored by the Pac-12 office for their work in the classroom. Four of the ASU student-athletes who picked up First Team accolades also garnered 2012 Academic All-American status this year (release here) in Hillary Bach (First Team), Katelyn Boyd (First Team), Bailey Wigness (First Team) and Annie Lockwood (Third Team).
