Competed in PAC-12 Tournament before falling short in the consolation final match against Garrett Drucker, whom he had defeated earlier in the season...
High School: A graduate of Desert Mountain High School (Scottsdale, Ariz.)... lettered in wrestling four times... captained the team his final three years at DMHS... reached the Arizona state final all four years and won the championship three times... went 43-0 as a senior to capture his third title... placed fifth at the 2009 junior national event to earn All-America honors in freestyle.
