Junior (2020)
- Gage Workman was tied for 12th in the Pac-12 with 31 defensive assists on the season.
- He was second on the team with a .364 average this year with runners in scoring position (8-of-22).
- Workman homered from both sides of the plate in the series sweeping victory over Fresno State and was third on the team with three homers this year.
Sophomore (2019)
- Gage Workman was one of the hottest players in the Sun Devil lineup of at the end of the season and finished the year batting .330 with 40 runs scored, 42 RBIs and eight home runs. He had hits in 20 of the final 26 games and multiple hits in 12 of those.
- He was second on the team with 20 two-out RBIs and successfully advanced runners 63 times on 125 chances (.504)
- In Pac-12 only games, Workman had a .330 average - the best total on the squad while his 25 Pac-12 RBIs were second on the team.
- In Pac-12 only games, Workman was tied for 10 in the league with 19 walks.
- His .430 on-base percentage was 12th in Pac-12 games and the second-best among all Sun Devils in the category. His .623 slugging percentage in Pac-12 games was 9th in the league and second on the team.
- Workman had eight home runs on the season, a new career high. His 23 extra-base hits surpassed his freshman total of 20.
- The sophomore earned Honorable Mention honors on the All-Pac-12 team.
- Workman had just three errors in Pac-12 games at third base on 80 chances (.964) and helped turn 17 double plays on the season en route to Pac-12 Defensive Honorable Mention honors.
Freshman (2018):
- Appeared in 50 games, starting 48 of them, during his true freshman in Tempe.
- Collegiate Baseball News Freshman All-American
- Completed an impressive freshman campaign 48-for-174 (.276), launching three home runs, driving in 25 runs, and scoring 27.
- Collected seven triples, tied for the fifth highest total in the country and second on the team behind the national leader in the category, teammate Gage Canning.
- Contributed significantly in the Sun Devil's series victory over Oklahoma State (3/2-3/4), finishing the weekend 6-for-13, driving in six runs, scoring four, and smacking a pair of triples.
- Smashed his first career home run during a 2-for-3 day against USC (4/8).
- A big part of Arizona State's first Pac-12 sweep of the season, as he finished the series against Oregon (3/16-3/18) 5-for-11 with two doubles and three RBIs.
- Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs in the Sun Devil's 8-3 victory over Pacific (5/14).
- An on-base machine during a four game run in April, recording at least one hit and one walk in four consecutive games (4/6-4/10).
- Did not ground into a double play all season, the only ASU regular that can make that claim
- Recorded 12 multi-hit games, including three 3+ hit performances.
- Drove in multiple runs in a game on six occasions.
- Posted an OPS of .805, slugging .466 (3rd on team) and reaching base at a .339 clip.
High School:
- Drafted in the 14th round of the 2017 MLB First-Year Player Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers
- Spent the summer of 2017 vying for a spot on the USA Baseball 18U National Team
- Posted a .396 average in his career as a member of the varsity squad, playing two years as he reclassified to graduate a year early
- Garnered 65 hits including 13 doubles, 12 triples and four home runs in 189 plate appearances
- Led Basha with a team-best 28 RBIs during his sophomore season
- Posted an .888 fielding percentage with 79 putouts and 48 assists on 143 chances
- An excellent student with 4.1 GPA to his credit
- His father, Widd, played for the Sun Devil Baseball program in the 90's
