Junior (2019) 

  • As he has done throughout his career at ASU, Carter Aldrete has begun to heat up in the final weeks of the season.
  • Aldrete is riding a team-best seven-game hitting streak heading into the postseason and has a home run in four of his last five games.???????
  • Aldrete’s .375 average over the last seven games is nearly 100 points higher than his teamates while posting a .917 slugging percentage in the stretch.
  • At nine home runs this season, Aldrete has easily set a career best after having just three in each of his first two seasons at ASU.
  • The junior has also set career highs in doubles (13), hits (57), runs (35) and RBIs (43) this season.???????

Sophomore (2018):

  • Finished a solid sophomore season with a .293 average (56-for-191) with three home runs and 31 RBI's
  • Showed a mature approach at the plate, drawing 22 walks giving him a .373 OBP
  • Recorded 10 doubles, giving him consecutive seasons reaching double-digits in doubles
  • Completed the season with 13 multi-hit and 8 multi-RBI performances
  • Saved his best play for last, ending the season on a nine-game hit streak
  • Drove in three runs in back-to-back games in March, going 3-for-5 in a 10-7 victory over Pepperdine (3/6) followed by a 2-for-3 outing in the Sun Devil's 9-4 win over UNC Wilmington (3/9)
  • Outstanding in the Sun Devil's three-game sweep of Oregon to open up Pac-12 play, finishing the series 5-for-12 (.417) with four RBIs
  • Hit two of his three homers in back-to-back games, launching one in a 3-for-6 effort against San Diego (5/9) before leaving the yard against Pacific (5/13)
  • Had a streak of seven straight games where he drove in a run spanning from 5/9-5/24.

Freshman (2017):

  • Led the Devils in RBIs during his freshman campaign with 31
  • His 16 multi-hit games on the season trailed only fellow freshman Lyle Lin (17) and Gage Canning (21)
  • Made his first career start on Opening Night, playing second base against Northwestern (2/17)
  • Hit his first career home run in a midweek game against Oklahoma State, a solo shot over the left field wall while ending the night 2-for-4 with a run scored (2/21)
  • Contributed three RBIs in the Devils' 13-9 upset of No. 1 TCU, nailing a one-out double into left center and hitting a sacrifice fly (2/24)
  • Knocked in two runs in a comeback attempt against No. 1 TCU, placing a single into right field to plate two (2/25)
  • Started at shortstop for the first time against New Mexico State (2/28), going 2-for-5 with a run scored
  • Notched two straight two-hit games against Long Beach State while scoring three runs in Game 1 and hitting a double in Game 2 (3/11-12)
  • Recorded his first career three-hit game against Cal State Bakersfield, lacing a double with three RBIs and two runs scored on the night (4/21)
  • Played an instrumental role in an eventual 14-13 victory over Arizona, contributing two hits and knocking in four runs in his second career game down south (5/9)
High School:
  • Selected in the 37th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox
  • Perfect Game rated him as the No. 3 shortstop and No. 12 overall player in California and the No. 23 overall shortstop and No. 93 overall player in the nation
