Olivia Kearse-Thomas' official NCAA statistics

CAREER SUMMARY
  • Olivia Kearse-Thomas accounted for 11 goals, six assists and 28 points during her 84-game career (46 starts).
  • A local standout, Kearse-Thomas was a big contributor to Desert Vista’s 2016 state championship team.
  • Kearse-Thomas’ role was every bit as important at ASU in helping the program return to national prominence as the squad qualified for the 2020 NCAA Tournament (played during the spring of 2021) for the first time since 2014.
2021 (GRADUATE)
  • Turned in the best season of her career, playing in a single-season, career-high 20 games (six starts) and scoring a single-season, career-high four goals, tying her single-season, career-high in assists (2) and establishing a new single-season, career-high in scoring (10 points).
  • Scored goals at UAB (Aug. 29), vs. Texas Tech (Sept. 12), vs. Washington State (Oct. 15) and vs. Utah (Oct. 31).
  • Also assisted on a goal both vs. CSUN (Sept. 2) and vs. Washington State (Oct. 15).
  • Played a major role in helping ASU come away with a tie vs. Washington State (Oct. 15). Down 2-0 after 30 minutes of game time the Sun Devils would have to score two goals against the nation's top team in goals-against average and the top goalkeeper in goals-against average. It meant scoring one more goal than the Cougars had given up in their eight previous contests. Kearse-Thomas cut WSU’s lead in half in the 41st minute and then combined with fellow midfielder Alexia Delgado to assist on Nicole Douglas’ game-tying goal in the 64th minute.

  • Scored her first goal of the season on Feb. 11 at Grand Canyon
  • Finished her senior year with three goals, two assists, and eight points
  • Notched 21 shots and 11 shots on goal

  • Fired a game winning goal in overtime against Weber State (9/1)
2018 (SOPHOMORE)
  • Continued to grow as a defender, after entering the program as a forward prior to the 2017 season.
  • Started in nine games, while logging minutes in 18 total contests in her sophomore campaign.
  • Tallied seven shots, four on goal, through the season.
  • Will look to continue to grow in the defender position, providing the Sun Devils a high level attacker on the back line in 2019.

2017 (FRESHMAN)
  • Made an immediate impact on the ASU team, starting in 18 of 19 games played in her freshman campaign
  • Scored her first collegiate goal against Ohio State on Aug. 18
