Senior (2020-21):
- Started the season with seven points thru 12 games before suffering an injury that sidelined him for 10 games
- Recorded six points over a six-game span that included No. 14/15 Wisconsin and No. 13/16 Notre Dame with four goals and two assists
- Netted two goals against No. 14/15 Wisconsin on Nov. 28, 2020 in an 8-5 victory
Junior (2019-20):
- Finished the season ranked 2nd in goals scored and 5th on the team in scoring with 15 goals and 24 points
- Big contributor on the power play in his first Sun Devil season, with three power-play goals
- Brought a big presence in front of the net that ASU hadn't had in the past???????
- Started off his NCAA career at Miami of Ohio for two seasons before going back to the USHL to play for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in 2018-19
- Played for the Fighting Saints for one season prior to his career at Miami, where he tallied 31 points (17G, 14A)
- In the 2018-19 season, Knierim served as an alternate captain and currently has 46 points in Dubuque
- Fellow teammates James Sanchez and Jacob Semik, who also committed to ASU, sported the other "A" for Dubuque this past season with Knierim.
Sophomore (2017-18 at Miami, OH):
- Saw action in 19 games; picked up one assist on the season, which came in a victory over Minnesota Duluth (11/18).
- Suited up for 30 games; tallied eight points on four goals and four assists
- Scored a goal for his first-collegiate point at Denver (11/19)
- Scored the first goal of a 3-2 overtime comeback win while finishing +2 against Colorado College (12/10)
- Scored the game-winning goal against Western Michigan (1/28).
Personal: Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 1, 1998… Son to Bill and Theresa Knierim… Brother to old sister, Brittany (Age 27)... previously played for Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL before committing to Arizona State… All-time penalty minutes leader for the Saints.
