RECORD-BREAKING RUNNER
  • Sophomore running back Eno Benjamin set the Sun Devils single-season all-time rushing record with his 118-yard performance. Benjamin finished the season with 1,642 rushing yards in 13 games.

  • The All-Pac 12 performer now holds ASU’s single-season record for rushing yards, rushing attempts, and games with 100+ yards rushing after a spectacular sophomore season.
  • Benjamin finished the season with 16 rushing touchdowns, placing him sixth in single-season school history.
QUICK HITS
  • The Sun Devils have had a 100-yard rusher in 13 of its last 18 games dating back to last year (Demario Richard with 4 and Eno Benjamin with 9). 
  • No ASU running back has lost a fumble in 913 consecutive carries, dating back to the 2016 season - a streak of 32 consecutive games. 
  • The 17 first half points scored by the Sun Devils were the most the Bulldogs had allowed in a first half all season.
  • After putting up seven points in the first quarter, the Sun Devils have scored in the first quarter in every game except in the victory over Michigan State.
  • The Sun Devils tied the game at the end of the first half with a 17-play drive that ended in a Brandon Ruiz 20-yard field goal represented their longest drive of the season in terms of plays and second-longest in terms of time of possession (17 plays 72 yards, 7:05).

  • Arizona State holds the FBS active streak for consecutive games scoring more than 7 points, currently doing so in 134 straight games. The Sun Devils last scored a touchdown or less when they were shutout, 28-0, against eighth-ranked USC in the 2008 season. 
  • Sophomore kicker Brandon Ruiz has made seven field goals in a row after going 2-for-2 this afternoon.
  • Junior wide receiver Kyle Williams caught a touchdown in the bowl game for the second consecutive season.
GAMBLIN’ PAYS OFF
  • The Sun Devil defense forced three Bulldogs turnovers, the third consecutive game where they have forced multiple turnovers. The three turnovers are the most that Fresno State has committed all season, as they entered the game seventh in the country in turnovers lost.
  • ASU was 3-for-3 in the red zone, the eighth time this season they finished a game with 100% conversion.
MANNY OF THE HOUR
  • Redshirt senior QB Manny Wilkins finishes his Sun Devil career with 8,624 passing yards, the fourth most in school history.
  • Wilkins has accounted for at least one touchdown in all 13 games this season and in 20 straight games dating back to last season.
NO FLY ZONE
  • Aashari Crosswell picked off his team-leading fourth pass of the season. It was the first interception Fresno State QB Marcus McMaryion had thrown in 154 consecutive pass attempts. McMaryion had gone four consecutive games without throwing a pick.
  • The Sun Devil defense picked off McMaryion twice in the same game after the Bulldogs senior QB had thrown just one interception over his last 292 pass attempts.
  • McMaryion had gone 17 straight games without throwing two interceptions and had thrown just three interceptions all season.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
  • Arizona State started four freshman (true or redshirt) and two sophomores (true or redshirt) on the defensive side of the ball.
  • Coming into the game, Sun Devil freshmen (true or redshirt) had combined for 3,302 play snaps. Comparatively, freshmen combined for just 918 total defensive snaps played in 2017 and 1,035 in 2016.
LAS VEGAS BOWL NOTABLES
  • Eno Benjamin’s 118-yard effort represents the 18th time a player has rushed for over 100 yards in the Las Vegas Bowl’s 27-year history.
SUN DEVIL CAREER FIRSTS/HIGHS
  • Redshirt senior offensive lineman Tyson Rising made the start at left tackle, the first of his career.
  • Freshman linebacker Darien Butler made a career-best 10 tackles while sophomore safety Evan Fields posted a career-best eight stops.
  • Redshirt sophomore defensive back Chase Lucas third quarter interception was his third of the season, besting his total from last season.
  • Brandon Aiyuk’s nine catches represent a career-high.
