Player Bio: Warren Everett



Arizona State basketball letterwinner Warren Everett, 40, was fatally injured Saturday morning, April 27, 2002, in a two-vehicle crash at Seventh Street and Missouri Avenue in Phoenix. Everett, born Nov. 3, 1961, graduated from Arizona State in May of 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. He graduated from Daingerfield (Texas) High School in 1980.

He played in 100 career games at ASU with 20 starts from 1980-85 and was a starter for Ned Wulk's final squad in 1981-82 before sitting out the 1982-83 season with a chipped bone in his right foot. Everett, was the team leader in field goal percentage in 1981-82 (60-of-115) at 52.2 percent and the team leader in blocks with 19 in 27 games. He earned 1981 Fiesta Classic All-Tournament Team honors and was named to All-Tournament Team at Milwaukee Classic in December of 1981.

Everett owned a construction company and was survived by daughter Shaniqua, 10, and son Warren Jr., 9.
