SUN DEVIL DATA: Newcomer to squad this year who played high school hoops in in Los Angeles area. Will push point guards Derek Glasser and Jamelle McMillan in practice. Great athlete who attended Texas Tech last year. Coached in high school by Jonathan Watanabe.
CERRITOS HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity two seasons (2004-2005 and 2005-2006) and averaged 10.8 points per game in senior season...played in all 24 games and also averaged five rebounds, 4.8 assists and had 78 steals and 31 blocks.
ETC.: Plans to major in forensic psychology...full name is Virgil Sanders III but his friends and family call him "Trey"...born Sep. 8, 1988, in Westwood, Calif....father is Virgil and mother is Kasandra Sanders and has an older sister, Lauren who is a senior at ASU.
