HIGH SCHOOL: A 1996 graduate of Monache High School, Porterville, Calif.... played both offensive and defensive tackle... versatile athlete who excelled in three different sports... selected as an All-American by BlueChip Illustrated... named all-C.I.F. and second-team all-State as an offensive tackle in 1995... also was one of the top heavyweight wrestlers in California... had a combined record of 47-2... named C.I.F. champion as a heavyweight his senior year... ranked in the top three in the state in the shotput and discus throw... recorded his best individual performance of 189 feet in the discus throw and 58'4" in the shotput... lettered three times in football and track also lettered twice in wrestling... captained the football, track and wrestling teams his senior year... coached in football by Mike Anderson.
