ASU: Combine Heap's blond hair, hands of glue and nose for the football and you'll know why ASU head coach Bruce Snyder called him the "Golden Retriever" ... established himself as the best tight end in the Pac-10 and in ASU history ... first Sun Devil tight end to earn first-team all-Pac-10 honors in 1999 and duplicated the honor in 2000 ... left ASU as the all-time leader in receptions by a tight end with 115, surpassing Ken Dyer's previous record of 88 (1965-67), and receiving yards by a tight end with 1685, also passing Dyer, who recorded 1365 ('65-67)... had nine career special teams tackles with ASU... declared early for the NFL draft and was selected in the first-round of the 2001 draft (31st overall) by the Baltimore Ravens... Earned second-team All Pro honors in 2003... has been selected to play in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii twice (in 2003 and 2004).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 1998 graduate of Mountain View High School...lettered three years in football and three years in basketball...helped Mountain View become the first school to win back-to-back state championships in 1996 and 1997...earned Arizona all-Star honors, all-Arizona, Super all-State, Arizona 5A Player of the Year, Ed Doherty Player of the Year Award and all-East Valley Two-Way Player of the Year as a senior...named a SuperPrep All-American...broke several school records, including most career receiving yards (1,377), most career receptions (87), most career touchdown receptions, and most touchdown catches in one game (3)...in state championship game against Amphitheater he caught a touchdown pass, scored a two-point conversion and threw a 26-yard touchdown pass...coached by Bernie Busken.

PERSONAL: Was pursuing a degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business...parents are John Robert (business owner) and Deena Elizabeth Heap...has two younger sisters (Alyssa and Carli) and three younger brothers (John, Greg, and Brad, 6)...his grandfather Theo and great uncle Verl played basketball at ASU...mother's cousin is Sun Devil Hall of Fame quarterback Danny White ... hobbies are water skiing and snow boarding...most exciting experience in sports was winning back-to-back state titles...full name is Todd Benjamin Heap.
