Player Bio: Stephen Rogers



SUN DEVIL DATA: Local product who has returned from two-year LDS Mission in Cleveland, Ohio, and competed at arguably the best high school programs in the state (Mesa Mountain View) where he lettered three seasons. Full name is Stephen Harris Rogers and was born Nov. 7, 1987, and is from an athletic family and he is the youngest of seven children. His sister, Lindsay, was a member of the 1999 Arizona state volleyball champion at Mesa Mountain View and played for 2000 Pac-10 champion Arizona. His uncle, Brent Stephenson, was the WAC Student Athlete of the Year while at BYU and played hoops for 1985 junior college champion Dixie College. Son of Kimball and Sharon Rogers.

MESA MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Gary Ernst, who has won six state titles and led team to back-to-back state titles in 2005 and 2006...averaged 15.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and shot 86 percent from free throw line in his senior year...team was undefeated in sophomore year and was 61-4 in final two seasons...also earned all-region twice and best game was a 34-point, six-dunk, 13-rebound and five-block effort...earned all-state from Arizona Coaches Association and All-Arizona honors from Varsity.com

GETTING TO KNOW...STEPHEN ROGERS
