ASU: Very talented gymnast...full potential has yet to be realized...will gain valuable experience working primarily on the bars and vault this season. High School: A 1999 graduate of Punahou School, Honolulu, Hi., where she lettered in gymnastics four years and track twice... placed first on the floor (9.85) and bars (9.65) and second in the all-around (37.95) at the Interscholastic League of Hawai'i Championships her senior year...also participated in club gymnastics with the Hawaiian Island Twisters ...all-around champion at the 1998 Level 9 state meet, sweeping all four events...moved to the Level 10 regionals last year, winning on the bars en route to second place all-around finish...performance qualified her for the Level 10 National competition...in 1999 named Hawaii's Female Athlete of the Year for gymnastics...made dean's list for seven semesters and graduated with honors...member of "Who's Who Among American High School Students." Personal: Will major in business with an emphasis on finance...enjoys going to the beach, shopping and watching movies among other interests...parents are Timothy and Joan Geary...has a younger sister, Erin (15)...full name is Shannon Janelle Chiemi Geary.
