A 1999 graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson…captured four state championships, becoming the first wrestler in Arizona history to win four 5A state titles…four-time all-state selection…finished fifth at the 1999 High School National Championships…earned first team ASICS-TIGER All-America honors his senior year…compiled a 145-3 record in his prep career including three undefeated seasons (34-0 as a freshman, 39-0 as a junior and 40-0 as a senior)…earned four letters in wrestling and served as team captain for three years…two-time Reno Tournament champion and 1997 Cadet national champion.
