High School: A 2003 graduate of Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Ariz... earned three varsity letters in baseball under coach Roy Muller... captain of baseball team during senior year... played summer baseball for Team Arizona and the Phoenix Firebirds... earned first-team All-State honors by AzBCA as a junior and senior... also a two-time All-State selection by the Arizona Republic... hit .507 as a junior with a .743 slugging percentage... as a senior he hit .465 with 29 RBI... had 11 RBI in one game and walked 30 times during the season... named Paradise Valley High School Athlete of the Year in 2003... played in the Sunbelt Tournament his junior and senior years.

Little League Hero: Henne played two years in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa... he played for the Arabian American Little League team out of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia... he led all players in the 1996 World Series hitting .833 (5-for-6)... his father, Charles, coached both teams.
