HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, Calif....was the defensive lineman of the year in the Santa Clara Valley League in 2000...two-time first-team all-league selection (1999 and 2000)...also earned second-team All-Central Coast Section honors as a senior...had 53 tackles, 10 sacks and two fumble recoveries in his final year...recorded four sacks vs. Los Gatos High School in 2000...lettered three times in football and twice in wrestling...was the 2000 league wrestling champion with a 33-12 record...captained his football and wrestling teams as a senior...was coached by Brad Metheany in football and Matt Eardman in wrestling.
