ASU: The only ASU tight end other than Todd Heap to have caught a pass … a tremendous blocker … will see increased playing time with the departures of Kendrick Bates and Brian Jennings.
1999: Reserve tight end who appeared in seven games, mostly in short-yardage situations ... caught first and only career pass in season-opener against Texas Tech ... has returned three kickoffs, the longest being a 19-yarder against UCLA ... tremendous blocker.
1998: Played in 10 games as a third tight end in short-yardage situations … saw his first action as a Sun Devil in the season opener against Washington.

1996: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1996 graduate of Horizon High School, Scottsdale, Ariz.… played tight end… named All-American by BlueChip Illustrated… also a member of The Arizona Republic all-Arizona team and the Scottsdale Tribune all-city team his senior year… honorable mention all-region in 1995 as a basketball player… collected 18 catches for 243 yards and two TD's in 1995… had six catches for 124 yards for a 20.6-yard average in 1994… lettered twice in football, three times in basketball and once in baseball.
