Two-year Sun Devil who was 68-of-86 (.791) from the free throw line (fifth on the ASU two-year player career chart) and played in every game of his 59-game career. Played at San Jose City College from 2000-2002 under Percy Carr, the winningest active coach in California, as SJCC reached the state playoffs for the 26th time in the previous 27 seasons in Hill's sophomore season. Attended El Cerrito (Calif.) High School and was a prep teammate of former Kansas standout and current NBA player Drew Gooden.

Averaged 30.7 minutes, 11.7 points and was 23-of-54 (.426) from the three-point stripe in the final 14 games of his senior year (2003-2004). Made 42-of-60 (.840) free throws in final 24 games and had 18 points in win at Oregon on Feb. 21 in a career-high 40 minutes. A double-digit scorer in 14 games, he posted a career-high 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting at Washington on Jan. 31 and had 20 points at USC on Jan. 17.

A four-game starter and first player off the bench in many tilts and had 10 double-figure scoring games in 2002-2003 as ASU reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1995. Averaged 21.6 minutes in the 10 road games. Had solid game vs. top-ranked Arizona with 12 points on Feb. 22 in Tempe. Averaged 12.5 points on the Washington road trip and played 31 minutes without a turnover in the overtime win at Washington. Was 22-of-29 (.759) from the free throw line and posted 14 points against both Washington (Jan. 9) and Washington State (Jan. 11). Had season-high 17 points vs. Chaminade on Nov. 26 and posted team-high 16 points vs. No. 15 Kentucky on Nov. 25 in season-high 37 minutes. Averaged 35 minutes per game in Maui Invitational.

A good free throw shooter, as he was 309-of-405 (.763) in his four-year collegiate career including his two years of junior college. One of the top junior college recruits in the nation in the spring of 2002 who was ranked as the seventh-best small forward in the nation by The Sporting News in the preseason and 10th among wing players by Lindy's in fall of 2001. Scored the second-highest single-season point total in school history in sophomore year and ended as the school's third career-leading scorer at San Jose City College, as he averaged 22.5 points in sophomore season after averaging 13.9 points and 3.8 boards in freshman season (2000-2001).
