ASU: Versatile athlete who made significant contributions on the defensive line...junior college transfer who was a two-year starter (22 starts)...anchored the defensive line opposite second-team All-Pac-10 selection Jimmy Verdon...team leader who was honored as a co-captain as a senior...was also recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his work in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program.

2004: Started all 12 games for ASU...earned the Cecil Abono Co-Captain Award...tallied a career-high 38 tackles (28 solo) on the season...finished third on the team with 5.5 sacks...also ended up third on the squad with 10.5 tackles for loss...recovered two fumbles and forced one during the season...tallied a career-high seven tackles Oct. 30 at Cal...also recorded a career-best six solo stops and tied his career high with two sacks against the Bears...had five tackles Oct. 2 at Oregon and again Oct. 16 at USC.

2003: Played in all 12 games, starting the last 10 games of the year (beginning Sept. 20 at Iowa)...recorded 30 tackles, including 21 unassisted...tallied 8.5 tackles for a loss...led the team with 4.5 sacks for a loss of 36 yards...was co-winner of the team's Gail Scott Most Improved Defensive Player award...also had a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble and recovery...had three tackles Sept 6 against NAU, including a tackle for a loss...forced a fumble and collected two solo tackles Sept 20 at Iowa...had five tackles (including four unassisted) Sept. 27 at Oregon State...his line against the Beavers also included three tackles for loss and two sacks for a loss of 15 yards...broke up a pass and sacked the quarterback Oct. 25 at UCLA...tied a season-high with five tackles Nov. 8 at Stanford and had a pass breakup...recovered a fumble Nov. 28 against Arizona...also had three solo tackles vs. the Wildcats, including one for an 8-yard loss.

2002: Played in the first two games of the year before redshirting with a hamstring injury.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Graduated from Sacramento (Calif.) City College...listed as the No. 28 junior college recruit in the nation (out of 100) by SuperPrep Magazine...earned second-team all-America accolades by JC Gridwire...earned first-team All-America honors on offense by Fred Baer of the California Community College Football Coaches Association...was named first-team All-NorCal conference, all-region and all-state...named the Sacramento City College Defensive Co-Most Valuable Player as a freshman with former Sun Devil Shane Jones...Sacramento CC won the Shrine Bowl in 2000...tallied 120 tackles, five fumble recoveries and five interceptions as a linebacker...had five catches for 135 yards as a tight end...coached at Sacramento City College by LaMonte Love.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Valley High School in Sacramento...lettered six times, twice in football and four times in baseball...was twice named All-Delta League...named all-city and team Defensive Player of the Year as a senior...captained the football and baseball teams as a junior and senior...made the principal's honor roll as a junior and senior...won the Silver Viking Award winner, given annually to the top senior in the school...a member of "Who's Who Among American High School Students"...played for coach Terry Cox.
