High School: A 1999 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Md...captured the 1999 National Prep Championship at 112 pounds...was the top-ranked wrestler at 112 pounds in the state of Maryland in 1998 and 1999...won the Mid-Atlantic title and two private school state championships...earned third team ASICS Tiger All-America honors...compiled a 116-12 overall record in his prep campaign, including a 42-3 mark as a junior and a 46-2 mark as a senior...placed fourth at the junior nationals...earned three letters in wrestling and served as team captain in 1999.
