HIGH SCHOOL: A 2000 graduate of Canyon Springs High School in Moreno, Calif....signed with ASU this spring after signing last year as well...listed as the No. 102 player in the Farwest by SuperPrep Magazine...All-Western Region pick by PrepStar Magazine...named to the PrepStar "Others To Watch" list in the 1999 preseason...lettered three times each in football and track and field and twice in basketball...captained the football team as a senior...earned all-county, All-C.I.F. and All-Ivy League in 1999...was the Most Valuable Player of the Canyon Springs High squad...as a junior, earned MVP of the offensive line at Canyon Springs and was second-team all-Ivy League...as a senior, broke the school record for the longest punt (65 yards).
PERSONAL: Majoring in justice studies...parents are Michael (retired U.S. Navy/Brink's) and Patricia (instructional assistant) Rosson of Moreno Valley, Calif....has a brother, Michael Jr. (25)...is married to Natalia Rosson who is the owner and teacher at a dance studio...uncle, Jim Bollman, played offensive line at Ohio University and is the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Ohio State...grandfather, Jim Claffey, was a lineman at Purdue...enjoys golf and basketball...born April 1, 1981 in Portmouth, Va....enjoys playing golf...full name is Chad Daniel Rosson.
