HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Essexville Garber High School in Essexville, Mich....lettered three times each in football and basketball...captained both squads as a junior and a senior...three-time All-Tri Valley East Conference selection...earned all-state honors as a senior...two-time selection to the Bay City Times Dream Team... recipient of the Coca-Cola Golden Helmet in 2004...set all of his high school's career and single-season passing records...finished his career with 4,521 passing yards and 38 touchdowns...turned in a 52 percent career completion percentage...completed 19-of-21 passes for 235 yards and two TDs in a game to give Essexville Garber the first district title in school history...was coached by Dave Schwartz in football and Rob Garcia in basketball.
