JUNIOR COLLEGE: Graduated from Palomar (Calif.) Junior College...was ranked first in the country among junior college transfers by espn.com...ranked as the 11th-best junior college player in the country by Rivals.com...was listed as the 48th-best junior college player in the nation and the No. 1 quarterback prospect by JC Football.com...earned first-team JC Gridwire All-America honors...listed as the No. 25 junior college recruit in the country (out of 100) by SuperPrep Magazine...named a first-team All-American on offense by Fred Baer of the California Community College Football Coaches Association...also made Baer's Region IV All-California First Team and was Offensive Co-Player of the Year...led the nation in touchdown passes with 33 while hitting on 220 of 339 pass attempts for 2,836 yards and nine interceptions...averaged 274.6 yards per game...was the Mission Conference Central Division Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman and a sophomore at Palomar...also named All-State Region IV quarterback...Palomar ran a pro-style, no huddle offense and finished 10th in the final JC Gridwire Top 10 poll, the fifth national top 10 finish for the Comets in the last 11 years...led his team to the Mission Conference Championship as well as Southern California title...had 426 yards passing and three TDs in the Southern California title game vs. Chaffey College during his sophomore year...as a freshman, threw for 2,339 yards and 19 TDs with only five interceptions...completed 207 of 303 passes that year...runs a 4.8 40.
