AUSTIN, Texas - For the second straight season, Arizona State junior third baseman Phelan Wright garnered First-Team All-Pacific Region acclaim, announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Wright is now in position to also earn her second All-American honor as well.
Wright, from Los Alamitos, Calif., batted over .300 the entire season and is currently batting a team-second best .324. She leads the team in home runs (15), which is also a single-season record and has batted in a career-high 46 runs (19 coming with 2 outs).
