TEMPE, Ariz. - The 21st-ranked Arizona State University baseball team takes on No. 11 Oregon for a three-game series over the weekend at Packard Stadium. First pitch on Friday and Saturday is at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday's game will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Friday Fireworks and Poster Giveaway:
Friday's game will be the third installment of Friday Fireworks at Packard Stadium. Every Sun Devil baseball game for the rest of the season will feature post-game fireworks, so bring the family and enjoy a 10-minute fireworks show approximately 10 minutes after the completion of the game courtesy of Sodexo.

This Friday's featured student-athlete for the Sun Devil Poster Giveaway is junior right-handed pitcher Trevor Williams. The first 750 fans to enter Packard Stadium will receive a poster, so be sure to arrive early to collect all six this season.

Saturday Baseball Bingo:
The first 300 fans to pick up a Bingo card can follow along and play all Saturday. The first five winners receive prizes.

Devils vs. Oregon
The Sun Devils are 11-5 all-time against Oregon and swept the Ducks last time the two teams faced off at Packard Stadium in 2011, winning 5-2, 3-1 and 8-0. ASU was swept last season in Eugene, Ore., losing 0-1, 1-3 and 3-4. Right-hander Trevor Williams went seven innings, but took the loss after striking out four and giving up three earned runs on six hits in game two of the series. Outfielder Kasey Coffman had two hits and scored two runs in a one-run loss in the series finale.

Wichita State Recap:
The Sun Devils won both midweek games at Wichita State on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Freshman RJ Ybarra knocked a two-out RBI single through the middle in the top of the ninth inning and freshman RHP Ryan Burr recorded his sixth save of the season to secure a 4-3 win over the Shockers on Tuesday night. He is now tied with Ryan Bradley (1995) for fourth on the school's freshman saves list. ASU scored four runs with two outs in the opening inning of Wednesday's to hold on for a 4-2 win. Right fielder Trever Allen went 2-for-4 with his fifth triple of the season, which is tied for the most in the Pac-12, and drove in three runs to power the Sun Devils offense that was held scoreless over the final 8 1/3 innings. Starting right-hander Alex Blackford (1) posted his first save of the season and the third of his career after throwing a perfect ninth inning. He earned the win in last night's game against WSU to finish the two-game series with a win and a save in 1 1/3 innings pitched.

  • The Devils have five wins this season over top-10 teams, with two coming against Arkansas, one at Oregon State on March 23 and two against UCLA on March 28 and 29
