Tempe, Ariz. - The second-ranked Arizona State women's golf team hosts the 2007 PING/ASU Invitational at the par-72, 6,230- yard ASU Karsten Golf Course, March 30-April 1. The PING/ASU Invitational has been held each year since 1965-66.
The line-up for the Sun Devils features: freshman Anna Nordqvist, sophomore All-American Jennifer Osborn, sophomore All-American Azahara Munoz, freshman Juliana Murcia and senior Lindsay Anderson. ASU will also have four Sun Devils competing as independents: junior Camila Sola, junior Brooke Todare, redshirt freshman Liisa Kelo, and senior Charmaine Erasmus.
The 17-team field, which features 10 teams ranked in the top-25 of the most recent Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll, includes: No. 10 Arizona, No. 2 Arizona State, California, Long Beach State, Missouri, No. 15 New Mexico, Oregon State, No. 8 Oklahoma State, No. 4 Pepperdine, No. 9 Stanford, No. 20 Texas A&M, Tulsa, No. 12 UCLA, UNLV, No. 6 USC, No. 7 Vanderbilt, and Washington.
Tee times begin between 8 a.m.-10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
