It was all smiles for the No. 22 Arizona State Sun Devils on Senior Day against the University of Arizona. All three seniors, Jacqueline Cako, Hannah James and Nicole Smith were able to earn wins attributing to the 4-3 win.

Strong efforts in singles play were not enough to lift No. 21 ASU over No. 13 Stanford on Saturday afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz. Sun Devil freshman Ebony Panoho was the only player able to earn a win for ASU, bringing her total to 7 wins of the last 9 matches.

In the first match of a two match weekend, the No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils fell to the No. 11 Golden Bears of California by a score of 6-1.

After falling in two Pac-12 matches last weekend, the No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils women's tennis team looks to recoup with wins against No. 11 California and No. 13 Stanford.
2010-2011: Did not play due to ACL injury.
2009-10: Became a consistent starter in the doubles lineup... went 8-2 overall with partner Brycki... also earned a singles victory in her lone singles match of the season... Re-tore her ACL at the end of the season.
High School/Juniors: was a stellar tennis and basketball player... ranked eighth in the Canadian Junior rankings before heading to ASU... named Best All-Around Athlete at her high school... graduated from Edge School in Calgary, Alberta
Personal: Projected major is psychology... born May 29, 1991 in Calgary, Canada... daughter of Mike and Jane Smith... sister Ashley played golf at ASU for one season... full name is Nicole Cristol Smith... says most exciting moment in sports was winning zones and cities for basketball and traveling the world for tennis.
