IRVING, Texas – Sun Devil Soccer’s Kierra Blundell and Mya Angus were selected as representatives from Arizona State on the Big 12 Conference’s All-Big 12 teams, the league announced on Sunday afternoon. Blundell was appointed to the All-Big 12 First Team, while Angus was selected to the All-Big 12 Second and Freshman Teams.

Blundell is Arizona State’s first All-Conference First-Team selection since Nicole Douglas was an All-Pac-12 First-Team honoree following the 2022 season. With Angus’ inclusion on the league’s all-freshman team, the Sun Devils have had at least one freshman on the squad since joining the league prior to the 2024 season.

Additionally, Angus is the first Sun Devil to earn a spot on both the conference’s second team and freshman team for the same season since Blundell did so in 2024.

Blundell, who played 1,332 minutes in 15 starts across 16 matches in 2026, finished the regular season with a team-high 19 points after scoring a team-best eight goals – the most by a Sun Devil in a single season since she scored 10 in 2024 – to go along with three assists. She began conference play with a brace in ASU’s 3-1 win against Utah on Sept. 18. In total, Blundell scored against four different league foes, including netting the game-winning goal in the Sun Devils’ 1-0 win over Arizona on Oct. 30.

Meanwhile, on the defensive backline, Angus was the only freshman Sun Devil to start and appear in all 19 matches of the regular season. She totaled eight points after scoring twice and being credited with four assists in 1,460 minutes played. Her two goals scored were the most by any freshman Arizona State this season. Her four assists were two shy of Amy Medley’s team-high six. She was also one of four different freshman Sun Devils to earn the Big 12’s Freshman of the Week honor after she was selected following ASU’s wins over LSU and Cal Poly on Aug. 27 and Aug. 30, respectively.
