TEMPE – Sun Devil Women’s Tennis was able to host more than 40 matches throughout the weekend, despite Friday and Sunday being canceled due to rain across the Phoenix area, hosting its annual Thunderbird Invitational.
The team went 6-2 in singles play during the week and 2-1 in doubles on Saturday. Arizona State welcomed Arizona, Boise State, BYU, Grand Canyon, Northern Arizona, Michigan and SMU to Whiteman Tennis Center.
