Baylor (4-1; 2-0) came out fast and led 21-3 just less than a minute into the second quarter leading to a 55-19 win at Mountain America Stadium Saturday night. The Bears turned a 21-13 game with a minute left in the first half to a 38-13 lead just over six minutes later.
The Sun Devils (2-2; 1-1) turned the ball over three times, twice on fumbles and once on an interception.
It marked just the third loss for ASU at home in its last 15 games, and stretched Baylor’s win streak to four straight, with its lone loss coming in an attempted game-winning, two-point conversion attempt in the Aflac Kickoff Game in Atlanta vs. Auburn.
Reed Harris had seven catches for 125 yards, as he now has 26 catches for 499 yards through four games. His 125 yards per game leads the Big 12.

Fourth Quarter (Baylor 55, ASU 19)
ASU scored in the first four minutes of the quarter, cutting the lead to 45-19, but Baylor scored the final 10 points to make it 55-19.
Third Quarter (Baylor 45, ASU 16)
Baylor came out fast and took control to make it 31-13 just over three minutes into the second half on a nine-play, 77-yard drive on D.J. Lagway’s third touchdown pass of the game, and then got an interception on the next ASU series and a touchdown to put the game away with a 38-13 lead. ASU had a four-and-long on next drive so settled for a field goal to make it 38-16, but Baylor answered with a 75-yard touchdown run to make it 45-16 on the first play of the next drive.
Second Quarter (Baylor 24, ASU 13)
Baylor went on a seven-play, 64-yard drive that took just 1:39 after forcing an ASU punt to take a 21-3 lead on a Louis Brown IV 10-yard touchdown catch. ASU cut it to 21-6 on a 32-yard Carson Smith field goal to make it 21-6 with 10:03 left in second. Baylor missed a 38-yard field goal, but ASU punted after three plays. ASU forced a Baylor punt later in the half and went 80 yards in five plays in less than a minute to make it 21-13 but Baylor kicked a 36-yard field after a 10-play drive to make it 24-13 at the half.
First Quarter (Baylor 14, ASU 3)
Both teams went three-and-out to start the game and then ASU got a 46-yard field goal from Carson Smith on a nine-play, 51-yard drive to make it 3-0 with 9:47 left in the first, but Ryelan Morris rushed 63 yards two plays later to make it 7-3 Baylor. ASU then went 47 yards in six plays to move to Baylor 28, but Omarion Miller went for a first down and had the ball knocked loose and Baylor fell on it and then went 72 yards on nine plays to take a 14-3 lead with 3:01 left in the first. ASU's first four drives resulted in a punt, field goal, turnover (fumble) and a three-and-out.

Carson Smith has hit his first seven field goals. He entered the game perfect on three attempts and added four against Baylor.

ASU will host Hawai’i next Saturday (Oct. 10) at 7:30 p.m. AZT on FS1 in its annual Hall of Fame game. It marks ASU’s only back-to-back home games on the year, as ASU then hosts Kansas State (Oct. 24), Colorado (Nov. 7) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 21).
