- Senior opposite hitter Noemie Glover surpassed 1,000 career kills against BYU. She earned 13 in the match, adding to her streak of consecutive matches with double-digit kills, now at 14. She also notched a double-double at Utah, her third of the season, with 23 kills and 11 digs.
- Junior libero Faith Frame had 13 digs in the match at BYU and 11 against Utah. She has reached double-digit digs in her last four matches, 13 overall this year.
- Sophomore outside hitter Maéva Schalk earned a career-high 13 kills in the BYU loss, which was her third time this season reaching double figures. Against Utah she had nine kills and 13 digs, as well as a personal-best five blocks.
- Junior outside hitter Una Vajagić is on a roll for the Sun Devils. She has accumulated nine double-doubles on the season, all coming in her last 12 matches and seven coming from her last nine matches played.
- While hosting their opponents, the Sun Devils are 6-1 this season, with wins against No. 8 TCU, No. 23 Colorado, and No. 24 Oregon.
Opponent outlook
UCF (11-8, 3-6 Big 12)
- UCF is coming off of two conference wins against Texas Tech and West Virginia. UCF swept Texas Tech on the road and had a home win against West Virginia
- ASU is 3-0 against UCF all-time, the latter two coming as conference foes and all three wins in straight sets. In 2025, the Sun Devils swept the Knights in Orlando.
- Sun Devil freshman setter Elle Mottola’s mom Emily Mottola was inducted into the UCF Hall of Fame last weekend. She played volleyball there as a setter and holds the career record for assists (5,923). While there, she helped the Knights win four-consecutive ASUN championships and was a four-time all-conference setter and the ASUN Player of the Year in 1995.
Houston (12-8, 5-4 Big 12)
- Houston split its last two matchups, with a win at home against Iowa State and a road loss to No. 24 Baylor.
