Established in 2023, the three-day event features both the top men’s and women’s golf teams from around the country that will play two days of stroke play at the Jubilee Course and then a medal round of match play at the historic Old Course and St. Andrews. Live coverage of the event will be on Golf Channel for all three days of competition.
It will mark the first time the Sun Devils have gone international since playing in the Topy Cup in September 2009 in Japan. The team won by 26 strokes over Wake Forest, shooting 6-under (858). The Sun Devils won the Topy Cup four times as ASU collected victories in 1987, 1993 and 1998. Junior Jaclyn Sweeney earned medalist honors shooting 3-under, 69 in the final round to finish 5-under 211 (70-72-69).
The 2026 version of the event saw both Texas’ men and women’s teams earn titles. In 2025, Princeton’s men’s team won the title as California earned the women’s title.
The Old Course, known as the home of golf, is the oldest and most recognizable golf course in the world. Established in the early 15th century, it has played host to The Open Championship 30 times and will host the iconic Open Championship in 2027 for the 31st time. The Old Course has hosted the Women's Open Championship three times and the Senior Women’s Open once in 2018.
